android - TextInputLayout error text padding -

i using textinputlayout appcompatedittext having custom xml shape based background appcompatedittext. whenever set error , error line starts beginning of layout. there way give padding error line.

you can reference error textview using:

textview textview = (textview) inputlayout.findviewbyid(android.support.design.r.id             .textinput_error);

then can layout params work with.
